NEWS have this really genki vibe about them - always encouraging and supporting their fans, and seeming like they really care about them

Tegoshi reminds me of one of younger female cousins... she's self confident and independent

Unfortunately, some of the better dramas are those without NEWS members.... so yup XD

Not really, as NEWS has settled well as a 6-member group. I'll like Uchi back in KJ8 though

It doesn't feel good, but they're normal people too and shouldn't be deprived of having a love life....

Kei-chan! He'll be interesting to talk to.

I think so, since it's like writing traditional Chinese

He has to work extra hard, but it's good for the fans as we get to see more of him  XD

Shige. He wants to settle into another job after graduating from uni using his law qualifications

Winds of Change

Ichigo.Ramen will cease to be a personal blog from now on and will instead continue to contain solely idol news and stuff ^^

I've realized that this blog is increasingly leaning more towards being my avenue for expressing my JE thoughts and opinions. And I do happen to have a personal blog on Blogger since most of the people I know in real life have their's hosted there.

Besides, I think I'm starting to bore non-JE fans with my fangirlistic ramblings on my personal blog. Hence, the need for Ichigo.Ramen here on VOX for my JE related posts XD

Thus, I've also changed my display name to Ichigo Ramen to reflect this change in direction... but it's still Adele blogging ^^

Weeeek - NEWS

That above is distracting me from studying Accounting. It makes me smile like an idiot, bob my head to the tune like a music junkie (haha... which I am, btw XD ), and makes my heart beat faster. Darn. I have a weakness for JE pretty boys in suits, and Weeek is one of NEWS' best songs ever (no surprise there as GreeeeN wrote the song).

Smart thing they have going on too. Since Weeeek was used in the series of CMs NEWS did for Russ-K, listening to the songs inevitably makes you want to rush to watch the CMs again. Not to mention the fact that the CMs themselves are very good, since they're dressed in very cool clothes (well, they should be as Russ-K is a clothing brand) I wouldn't mind seeing on actual guys-on-the-street, and have some crazy antics in them.

Even the Limited Edition version of the single comes with the Russ-K style abbreviation for the members (YM [Yamashita], KY [Koyama], MD [Masuda], etc)

Anyway, NEWS' PVs generally come off looking cheap and a little fake. No change there for Weeeek's, but the guys goofing about (in suits!! ^^) pretending to be salary men more than make up for it. Shige really does stand out in his few-shades-lighter suit though... haha XD

Also, Kei-chan is sooooo adorable with his hyperactive jumping about. He can't seem to stand still ne XD  I melted at the part where he straightens his tie and then waves ^^

And I still want Tegoshi's stylist!! Haha... honestly, he seems to be getting more and more stylish, from clothes to appearance. He's got the confidence and slight arrogance to pull it off too, knowing he has one of the best voices in JE. I especially love the part towards the end where he slings his coat across his shoulder. So kakkoii!! =p

For the Johnny's Jimusho group, we've moved past the 100-member mark while for the NEWS group, the current member count is a respectable 60.

It fills me with lots of joy when I see both communities continuously growing, with many new media posted up on a regular basis. Through both these groups, I hope you've gotten to know Johnny's Jimusho better, connected with other JE fans on Vox, as well as had many fun filled hours of discussion and media browsing  =)

To create a more personalized look for both groups, would any member of the community be interested in donating a banner to the Johnny's Jimusho and/or NEWS community(ies)?

Haha... nah, I haven't suddenly moved away form home or something of that sort. It's just that the last few days, my IT database project has filled all waking thoughts. I've finally passed it up today and reclaimed my sanity after 5 hectic, tension filled days of sleeping less than an accumulated total of 5 hours  =p

Now I know what it feels like to be a top JE idoru with a schedule that leaves little time for sleep  XD  Just makes me admire Yamapi more ne! ^^  He's so busy with work nowadays, and he has to juggle his business course at Meiji University along with his ever increasing popularity. Sho of Arashi once said that he had only 2 hours of sleep during a particularly busy week when he was still a uni sudent.

Anyway, there will definitely be a new rotation at Strawberry Vinyl this weekend. I'm really excited about it as I'll be doing an 'artiste spotlight' on one of my fav Korean boybands of the moment XD

Btw, Adele is blogging for the first time form Computer Lab 6 at college. We got IT class off today, after all that sheer hard work that went into the completion of the project.

My mid year exam is well past and just another mark in the life history of Adele. Furthermore, it's currently the start of a 2 week long break.

Things to do:

• Plan a new rotation and layout for Strawberry Vinyl
• Catch up with the latest JE news
• Read a lot of Shoujo manga Did this the whole of Monday and yesterday... I recommend Rockin' Heaven and Kimi to Scandal  =p
• Complete the Akiba deck for Nihon Joy TCG by tomorrow
• Read... I was a recluse today, glued to John Grisham's The Testament

And... Sssh.... Adele caved in to her curiosity and has a Blogger. It's not even half complete though, since I haven't really had the time or interest to post up links and write a proper profile page. But there are two posts there, for anyone who might be interested which I doubt there are. Honestly though, I think I have a blog in nearly every service that provides one and there wasn't any pressing need to get another apart from the fact that Blogger seems to be to Malaysian youths what Livejournal is to youths in other parts of the world, and I got curious as to its inner workings. Therefore, I signed up for one with the noble aim of declaring 'I came, I saw and I conquered'. Yeah, really original. And I still prefer my Livejournals.

This is one of my favorite Ayumi Hamasaki songs which I feel in love with after watching a clip of her performing it live at one of her concerts. I think this is from when she was doing a lot of dance and techno stuff, which was way back aroud the late 90's. It's not that popular compared to her other singles, but I notice I tend to prefer Ayu's less well-liked songs  XD
